About This Project

Cody, or better known as Doctam3 on YouTube and Instagram, brought his newest purchase in for some work.  The “Purplemante” is a special edition Lamborghini Huracan known as the Performante .  It is designed to be a monster on the race track.  Although we did not get a chance to ride in it, we certainly had fun working on this one.

We tinted the windows with Xpel Prime ceramic window film.  In addition to looking incredible, this tint will block most of the heat coming into the car from the sun, and 99.9% of UV rays.  This means more comfortable passengers, and a protected interior. On this particular vehicle (as with most frameless windows) we also shaved the edges of the tint.  That means the tint comes over the edge of the glass, we heat it, and then precisely shave the edge down so that it looks like factory tinted glass with no gap.

The color on this car has to be seen to be believed.  The vibrant purple flips and flops in the light and it absolutely stunning.  Doctam3 did a fantastic job designing this one!
