Someone recommended this shop and I couldn’t be happier with the job they did. Made my commutes so much more comfortable and enjoyable.I’m not typically one to write reviews, but the job these guys did was amazing but the customer service was what stood out. Nathan was super pleasant the entire time. Broke down all my options and didn’t try to push anything on me. I even saw him helping out an older woman and he took the time to demonstrate the heat resisting properties of all the options for her. I made an appointment for the annual review of the PPF. The service included hand washing, surface decontamination, clay bar to remove debris, inspection of the ceramic coating and application of conditioner. When I got there, one of the guys walked around my car with an exacto knife cutting pieces of the PPF and within 15 minutes he was done and told me he could not do the wash because he was too busy. After I complained, he offer to do a quick wash outside, which was not what was promised in the email confirming the appointment. I’m disappointed!Original Review ——Just picked my Nissan Z from the shop in Miami and the hood looks like a mirror from behind the wheel! Since the very first contact Patrick was super helpful answering all my questions and accommodating my kinda crazy schedule.Everything seems very carefully done. Got them done. I waited the 48 hours and looked the windows over noticed a defect in the driver side window at the same time they called asking how it was looking I told them about the defect at which point they had me me come in the same day looked it over and told me to come back the following week 08/22/2023. I went in expecting the tint to be replaced as they have promised. I got in and drove home, when I got home I noticed my dash cam was unplug. I took the SD card out and place it in my laptop to find the time I was there till the Tim I got home the videos were deleted. My dash cam is always plugged in. So I looked the tint over and noticed it doesn’t look like it was replaced at all but instead like a torch was taken over the glass to reactivate the glue in the tint. The tint definitely wasn’t replace as promise as I was there at most 20 mins. When they did my windows each window took 45 mins, so the tint wasn’t replace and to me they erased the videos to hide the fact they didn’t hold up to the warranty as they promised.Jerry Blackman ★★★★★ I had a great experience with Blackout Tinting. After waiting the two weeks for coating to fully harden, I can wash her now. Even not washed with all the running around through rain, the car looks amazing. No one mentioned that it was not secured to an alternative location or that it couldn’t be reattached. I’m on thefence about giving Blackout Tinting another chance. In the meantime, I’ll contact them and see how we can rectify this minor but major issue. I am sure they wouldn’t have left their own car like this.EDIT: So, all is well, and the issue has been resolved! Justin was a huge help on the drop off day as we came up Coral Gables after work and got to the shop around 8pm, which was crazy late. Our SUV was featured in their April 2022 YouTube video update. Job was well over $7k. The quality of the install on the Full SUV Xpel wrap is the finest we have ever seen (we’ve seen many). The edges are perfect and there are 0 bubbles anywhere! We also had the ceramic coating applied to the Xpel and it’s a must do. The richness of the paint and the shine is noticeable. We have even had 2 different valet’s say unprompted how nice the paint on the GX 460 is. That’s all Blackout Tinting Miami’s good work! The window tint is better than factory and runs right to the classes edge on the doors. and it’s flawless. But, nothing is perfect, ever. So dropping 1 star for… we found out a few days after pickkup that the passenger rear door insert was not properly reinstalled and as a result the door would not open from the inside (no it was not the child lock). We found this out on a family trip, so this became a real PIA. That said, just got the GX back from the dealer today, where they property reconnect the power lines and the door opens as it should – $0 fix from the dealer. Our take away, the work on the Xpel wrap, ceramic coating and window tint is second to none and we will use Blackout Tinting again. First off, they installed XPEL’s top of the line heat rejection film on all of my windows. This included the full windshield, as well as a visor on top of the full windshield and even the sunroof to keep my black interior as cool as possible! Following the window film they started on my paint. They washed, clayed, and iron decontaminated my Camaro to rid the paint of any decontaminates. Once that was complete, they started to install the paint protection film. I elected to do a full body wrap on my Camaro in XPEL Stealth bringing my gloss black paint to a beautiful satin black finish. After completing the paint protection film, I had them install a gloss black rally stripe to off set the new satin finish. And last but not least, Blackout applied an XPEL Fusion ceramic coating. This was applied to every surface including the barrels of the rim and even the calipers!The entire process from start to finish was incredible.
